Stuck in a never-ending cycle of feeling unfulfilled with your life? Need a kick up the a** to change it? Here are my tips on things you can do right now to make the rest of your life the best of your life.
If you are in a rut, eating foods that are simply making you feel groggy isn’t going to help. There is nothing stopping you going to the nearest supermarket right now and filling your shopping basket with fresh fruit and vegetables, bottled water, fresh fish and nutritional snacks. It’s up to you whether you buy the chocolate bar or you buy the breakfast bar. Your diet consumes your entire life, 3 meals a day and the nibbles in between. What you put into your body inevitably determines the quality of life that you are going to have.
I don’t just mean romantic relationships, this counts for any relationships. If you surround yourself with positive people, you have a better chance of finding a positive life. If there are people that are toxic to your well being, get rid. If relationships are not what they should be, but not worth throwing away, take one step today towards fixing it. On the other end of the spectrum, if you have people in your life that are too good to lose, fight to keep them.
Don’t go to bed at 4 am and wake up at 4 pm. I am not one for conforming to what the rest of the world is doing, but your sleep is precious. It is the one thing that is going to make or break the way you start your day. So get up, start your day with the sun, make it count, and go to bed the same night with satisfaction.
YOUR PHYSICAL SPACE/ SURROUNDINGS
I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again- “a clear space, a clear mind”. There is not much hope if you can’t even bring yourself to tidy up. If you are a tidy person already, what can you do to make it even better? Can you organise something that’s been niggling at you? Can you buy something that is going to make your space a calmer place to be? In order to begin to think about making the most of your life, you need somewhere pleasant to do it. THE WAY YOU BEHAVE TOWARDS OTHERS
I am only just starting to realise that in order to get the most from my life, it needs to start with me. I cannot blame anyone else for my failures or lack of success, and moreover it is becoming apparent that how I respond to others is where my power lies. Do not let others affect you to the point they stop you making the most of every day. Continue your path smiling at those that choose not to smile back and create your own positive energy.

Stop. If what you do when you are procrastinating isn’t aiding you in any way shape or form to a better way of life, then replace it. Put that time and energy into something that will.
TOO MUCH OF ONE THING
Life in moderation, as my mother always tells me. Don’t obsess over one thing until you burn out. Create a bundle of things that stimulate you and do them all efficiently a little at a time.
ACCEPTING YOUR FEARS/DOWNFALLS
You cannot get the most from your life until you accept what it is that is holding you back. What is it that you are so afraid of that has literally stopped you being the best that you can be? Figure it out, even if it takes you all day, and accept that you are holding onto something not worth holding onto. Tell yourself, today, you will let that fear go.
DISCOVERING WHAT MAKES YOU TRULY HAPPY
Think not what fears you, but what drives you. Write a list, today, of everything you can, that makes you truly happy & think about where you want to be in the future. By planning and preparing this will start you on your path for the best life you can have.
I don’t mean start a 7-year law degree (unless of course, you want to!). But just educate yourself somehow. Whatever it is that you are passionate about, study it. If you love to sing, watch videos after videos of successful artists. If you love to write, read books by best-selling authors. If your passion is to work with animals, search the internet to find out exactly what is going to make you a real contender for the job. You can never over educate yourself, but make it count.
